Hours of Operation

Customers must arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to closing in order to enter the yard. No admittance to the yard will be granted in the last 30 minutes of business hours.

Our standard hours of operation are weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Proper Footwear in the Yard

Proper footwear must be worn when entering the yard (i.e. shoes or boots). No admittance into the yard will be allowed for customers wearing any form of open-toed footwear. (e.g. sandals, flip-flops, crocs, etc.)

Tools

Come prepared! As a self-service yard, you’re on your own for tools. You’ll need to make sure you bring all the tools you need to get the job done on your own. If you need assistance in the yard, it’s okay to befriend a fellow recycler. We provide you with low prices by maintaining a lean inventory of staff.

Inspecting your Toolkit

Before you pack your toolkit: We do not allow torches, grinders, chop saws, or any other tools that create sparks or flames. This is done for your safety and the safety of others in the yard. Your toolbox will be inspected for any of these items each time you enter our yard. Portable air compressors, generators, cordless sawzalls, drills, and any other tools that you may need are encouraged.

How we are Organized

After inspecting your toolkit, a staff member will provide you with information on the yard. Feel free to ask questions about the yard’s layout, directions to where you can find the vehicle you are looking for, part prices, exchange warranty information, return policy guidelines, and parts interchange lists.

The yard is organized into four sections of vehicles: Imports (all European, Japanese, and any other non-domestically branded vehicles), General Motors, Ford, and Dodge/Chrysler. The customer parts yard is the only area available for customers to pull parts.

Please do not enter any fenced area as these areas are off-limits and dangerous.

Please clean up after yourself.

This will allow us to keep our part prices low and our facility safe. Any parts you remove from a vehicle, but do not purchase, please put them back in the vehicle. Please do not leave any loose parts on the ground. Always work in a safe manner, as we would like you to have an enjoyable experience in our yard. If you witness any vandalism, unsafe circumstances, or dangerous behaviour from other customers to the yard, please report to the manager immediately. Keeping track of your tools is part of your responsibility.

Pricing Made Simple

Once you have finished retrieving your parts, return to the sales office. In our sales office, you will find our friendly sales staff ready to help you with pricing and purchasing or go to our online price list containing over 400 parts and their prices. Our prices are standard for each part, regardless of the vehicle’s age, make, model, or condition. Please do not attempt to negotiate on part prices. We offer the lowest prices on auto parts, and we charge the same price for everyone.

Nicklin’s 30-Day Free Exchange Warranty

When you purchase your parts at Nicklin, you will receive an itemized receipt with a free 30-day free exchange warranty. Our free exchange policy allows you to return your parts to the yard with their original receipt and corresponding markings on the part itself. When the part is returned, you will be offered a replacement part of the same type. If the part is not available, you will receive a credit for the value to be used at Nicklin in the future.
