Why Visit Nicklin Auto Parts & Recycling
You’re not searching for an autorecycling yard looking for convenience and simplicity. You come to Nicklin Auto Parts & Recycling because you know that a little grease on your hands will save you hundreds of dollars — and can even help you make a few bucks.
At Nicklin, you get the best prices around on auto parts, by paying flat rates on all the parts you pull from our 30-acre self-serve facility.
About Guelph’s Largest Auto Recycler
Since the late 1950s, Nicklin Auto Parts has served Southern Ontario by recycling over 13,000 tonnes of metal each year. In our self-service yard with over 2,000 cars, you’ll uncover the part you want, at prices you won’t find anywhere else.
U-Pull Admission Fees and Pricing
A $3.00 admission fee is required to enter the yard each visit. All we ask is that you sign a digital waiver before entering the yard, and allow our sales staff to inspect your toolbox for prohibited items .
As long as you arrive outfitted with proper footwear, you are free to start your hunt. If you come wearing any form of open toed footwear (e.g. sandals, flip-flops, crocs, etc.) you will not be permitted entry into the yard.
All prices are available online only and subject to change without notice. You pay a standard rate — no matter the vehicle’s age, make, model, or condition.
Tools and Safety Inspections for Yard Entrance
Come prepared! As a self-service autorecycler, you’re on your own for tools. You’ll need to make sure you bring all the tools you need to get the job done. If you need assistance in the yard, it’s okay to befriend a fellow recycler. We provide you with low prices by maintaining a lean inventory of staff.
Before you pack your toolkit:
We do not allow torches, grinders, chop saws, or any other tools that create sparks or flames. This is done for your safety and the safety of others in the yard. Your toolbox will be inspected for any of these items each time you enter our yard. Portable air compressors, generators, cordless sawzalls, drills, and any other tools that you may need are encouraged.
Selling/Recycling Your Unwanted Car Helps the Environment
Why leave junk in your yard when a free tow to our U-Pull Yard will eliminate environmental waste and earn you some extra cash? At Nicklin, we recycle your vehicle and reduce unnecessary production from auto manufacturers. Our customers maintain their vehicles by salvaging the best parts from yours in our pick and pull program.
Our Commitment to the Environment
We employ modern, environmentally conscious extraction methods to securely remove all automotive fluids from the vehicles you donate, including oils, fuels, and coolants that are harmful to the environment.
Your vehicle’s usable parts are then salvaged in our self-service yard, with the remaining metal being compacted for transportation to mills. From the mills, the metal is recycled to create new products.
Each step in our process helps to reduce the automotive industry’s impact on the environment, and allows you to clean up your space and earn some extra cash. We welcome all makes and models of vehicles, domestic and foreign, offering free pick up and towing to our yard.
Proper and responsible recycling of vehicles, helps to preserve the environment and sustain resources. Each recycled vehicle helps to reduce pollution while also reducing our dependence on the production of natural raw materials that consume energy, water, and related resources.
